    About Us:

    Anma Offshore Wind
    will be developed and constructed by EQUIS and their strategic partners. With a capacity of 532MW and COD scheduled for Q1 2029, Anma is expected to be South Korea's first utility-scale offshore wind farm.

    Role Summary:

    We are looking for a Quality Inspector, joining the ONS Work Package. This role will be located at the Onshore Substation site in
    Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do
    , Republic of Korea, this includes occasional travelling to subcontractors sites, to assure that the scope of work is being delivered on-time, within budget, according to contractually agreed employers requirements and technical specifications.

    What You Will Do:

    • Take ownership and actively follow up with the Contractor to ensure that their scope of supply and deliverables are on time and in compliance with the Employers Requirements (ER), Good Engineering Practise and to International Standards.
    • Review and ensure compliance to contractor quality documentation such as Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan, Audit Plan, Design Drawings, etc.
    • Actively liaise, coordinate and provide reports to the ONS Site Manager and/or Package Manager on contractor's technical performance.
    • Review contractor quality documentation such as Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan, Audit Plan.
    • Report to Project Quality Manager/Deputy Quality Manager on key quality metrics, quality KPI's and quality trends/performance.
    • Review & Approve contractor quality documentation such as Drawings, Risk Analyses, Method Statement etc.
    • Ensure quality processes are upheld, additionally support on time execution of ONS minimization of risks including utilizing lessons learnt.
    • Check and confirm Contractors: type testing, manufacturing, FAT, jointing works, termination works, site acceptance testing, commissioning, final documentation and handover are compliant with ER's and latest international standards.
    • Review Open Points and NCR's raised by the contractors for adequacy of root cause analyses, corrective actions and preventative measures.
    • Raise Open Points and NCR's at contractors site in case deviation to contractual requirements have been determined.
    • Liaison with contractors' quality personnel assigned to the project to assure quality requirements are met.
    • Monitor and attend ITAP activities, inspections, acceptance tests such as Type Test, Tests during manufacture, FAT etc. incl. sign-off and comment on relevant quality records.
    • Review and accept technical specifications and quality documentation, as required in conjunction with ONS Package Manager.
    • Participate in quality audits at contractor and subcontractor sites, while also overseeing procurement progress and initiating expediting measures when required.
    • Provide practical advice and guidance to the ONS Site Manager and/or ONS Package Manager and Quality Manager/Deputy Quality Manager to ensure latest industry best practice are applied.
    • Monitor quality control system implemented by the Contractor.
    • Assure that contractor is adhering to project quality plan.
    • Monitor contractor's implementation of procedures, processes, protocols, including but not limited to those related to ITAP activities.
    • Monitor as-built documentation preparation by contractor and share with relevant packages in the project organization.
    • Review & monitor manufacturer's record book and as-built documentation from a technical and quality perspective.
    • Monitor and follow up contractor progress of fabrication activities against the project Programme and address areas of concern.
    • Support H&S related inspections and safety walkdowns to promote the projects HSE policy.

    What You Will Need:

    • Minimum 5 years quality inspector experience with electrical transmission/underground transmission cable systems, particularly subsea cables.
    • A technical background within Electrical Engineering, acquired through experience and/or through education.
    • Experience from cable and electrical equipment manufacture, Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, Shipyard industry of similar work scope.
    • Valid safety related training in accordance with local legislation e.g., Working at Heights, First Aid. Experience and understanding of relevant ISO/KS quality standards.
    • Well structured, service-minded and flexible with experience of related IT tools and procedures, such as Microsoft and document control systems.
    • Language skills: English/Korean, both verbal and in writing.
