    Hauptaufgaben

    Selects for shipment or issue, designated stock by proceeding to area, finding stock and verifying information shown on shipping or issuing document against that on stock tags or bin tags; determines from which stack or bin items are to be removed; removes stock, assuring that proper quantity and nomenclature of selected stock agrees with information contained on document.

    Moves item selected to designated location.

    Receives supplies and equipment by unloading conveyances; moves items by handcart, conveyer, or similar conveyance; checks items against proper document, making proper notation on same, and reporting discrepancies and damage to supervisor; places clearly identified stock in appropriate temporary or permanent storage locations according to specific oral or written instructions and established methods.

    May sign for items received.

    Warehouses palletized bulk stock according to specific locations; restacking and rewarehousing items and straightening stacks as directed; sorting out bad containers and restacking or taking to bin area.

    Periodically check bays or bins for mixed stock or incorrect locations; corrects or notifies supervisors of problem. Performs a variety of postal work involved in sending, receiving, distributing, combining, transferring, and dispatching U.S. mail for transportation to, from, and within overseas areas and the United States. Performs other duties as assigned.

    NOTE:
    1. This position has been designated as KN EMERGENCY-ESSENTIAL (MISSION ESSENTIAL).

    KN EE (ME) Position Agreement Form (USFK Form 200EK) must be signed prior to appointment of the selectee for this position.

    2. Relocation Allowance will NOT be authorized for the selectee from outside the commuting area. 3.

    Federal agencies may request information regarding the vaccination status of selected applicants for the purposes of implementing other workplace safety protocols, such as protocols related to masking, physical distancing, testing, travel, and quarantine.


    Working Condition:
    Work is performed inside warehouses in bin rooms, in open storage areas and on receiving or shipping docks. The areas may be cold, drafty, damp, or hot. Work is performed in close quarters in warehouse or bin aisles, ramps, or platforms. Exposed to injury from falling materials and from mechanical equipment. Works on concrete floors. Lifts moderately heavy items. Assistance is required from other warehouse workers, laborers, and equipment operators when moving bulky items.

    Must be capable of lifting articles weighing as much as 70 pounds.
    Must be able to work odd hours, weekends, American and Korean holidays.
    Leave is not usually granted during the period 15 Nov thru 15 Jan each year.
