    Job Description:

    The Role:

    • The Plant Financial Analyst provides financial reporting and analysis related to Plant Operations including supply chain organization.
    • The position provides support to the Plant Controller and to the Plant Manager as well as other key personnel in the Plant.
    • This position is primarily responsible for Oseong plant but engages with other sites as a member of Plant Finance in Korea.
    • This position reports to the Korea Plant Controller.

    In this role you will:

    Financial Analysis and Reporting:

    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of plant operations, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and budget vs. actual performance.
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to plant management and corporate stakeholders.
    • Identify and communicate key financial trends, risks, and opportunities.

    ※ Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Assist in the development of annual budgets for the plant, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
    • Collaborate with department heads to gather relevant data and inputs for the budgeting process.
    • Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to plant management.

    Cost Control and Optimization:

    • Evaluate manufacturing costs, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
    • Partner with operational teams to analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Financial Modeling:

    • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario analysis.
    • Provide insights into potential investments, capital expenditures, and other financial decisions.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with various departments, including operations, supply chain, and procurement, to gather relevant financial data and provide financial support.
    • Collaborate with corporate finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting and alignment with company policies.

    Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification.
    • 3 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • SAP user and excellence in Microsoft Office.
    • Able to communicate effectively in English.
