    CTSI Employees

    Works at clinical sites to assist senior physicist in performing Linear Accelerator commissioning services, TPS modeling, validation, and end-to-end testing. Also assists with technology adoption of new products such as HyperArc, RapidPlan, Bravos, Ethos, and HyperSight.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assist or perform water phantom setup and alignment for data collection
  • Perform commissioning tasks including data collection and analysis using water phantom system
  • Perform TPS modeling and validation
  • Assist in utilizing multiple vendor dosimetry QA equipment and software to collect and analyze measurement data
  • Operate Varian Treatment, TPS and EMR systems
  • Collect data in commissioning and communicate report to senior physicist
  • Participate LINAC QA tasks specified by client contracts
  • Training/New Product Implementation - HyperArc, Ethos/adaptive, RapidPlan, Bravos, and other new technologies as developed and implemented Provide onsite support for first cases. Work closely with Medical Affairs to provide physician and physics training.
  • Position includes extensive travel
  • May provide on-site or remote physics support at other sites (not limited to commissioning clients)
  • May provide annual and or monthly QA in support of clinical sites
  • Other duties as assigned by Dir, Clinical Services
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • M.S. in Medical Physics or a closely related field required.
  • One to Three (1-3) years of experience in a clinical environment are required
  • Per local (APJ) national accreditation and licensing standards with medical physicist
  • Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
