• To account for the effectiveness of the processes and personnel under their control to their immediate manager.
• Develop the design and development of procedures involving BorgWarner personnel and operations to reduce incidents, accidents, injuries and occupational illnesses as well as environmental aspects and impacts.
• Promote Health, Safety and Environmental awareness in the organization through communication and training of employees, suppliers, contractors and visitors.
• Manage the environmental and occupational health and safety context of the organization.
• Manage the identification of safety, health and environmental needs and expectations of stakeholders.
• Manage the identification of safety and environmental risks and opportunities.
• Apply Employee Training Needs Analysis to strengthen safety, health and environmental issues.
• Develop, training programs on safety, hygiene, emergency response, legal requirements, hazardous materials and related topics.
• Attending authorities in matters of safety, health and environment.
• ISO 14001 and GSSF (Global Star Safety Framework) Lead
• Internal Auditor in 1400
• Team leader in inspections, risk analysis, ergonomics, hazardous and nonhazardous waste minimization, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and Global Star Safety Framework (GSSF) and raising a high level of employee participation.
• Provides support to GSSF and ISO 14001 advocates and leads crossfunctional team in the investigation of incidents, accidents and occupational illnesses, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage compliance with the facility's Safety, Health and Environmental Policy.
