    This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Post-Secondary Students and Recent Graduates.

    This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will NOT be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants should review the "How to Apply" section of this flyer for more information on how to be considered. This flyer will be used as positions become available. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer.



    Duties

    • The duties are developmental in nature leading to the full performance level of GS The duties are described at the GS-12 level.
    • Research staffing regulations and procedures such as Title 5 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Operating Manuals to provide regulatory guidance to customers.
    • Advise management, supervisors and employees on a wide range of civilian personnel management issues, practices and policies.
    • Process and code the full range of personnel actions using an automated system such as Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS).
    • To include pay, benefits, hiring, work schedule changes, terminations, name changes, change in duty status, veterans preference status, and
      realignment actions assuring appropriate codes and remarks.
    • Utilize an Automated Stopper and Referral System to input and retrieve priority placement information, register, and place employees in
      outplacement programs
    • Apply the functionality of various Civilian Personnel automated staffing programs, such as EMPReS, DCPDS, FASCLASS, ASARS and USA STAFFING.
    • Classify position descriptions using Federal classification standards and job grading systems to determine the proper title, occupational series,
      grade, coverage under the Fair Labor Standard Act and competitive level code.
