Hauptaufgaben

Serves as Supply Technician performing a variety of supply tasks involved in documentary control of receipt, storage, adjustment, disposition, and issue of all type of communication equipment, spare parts, test equipment, and high value major end items.

Incumbent is also responsible for executing and regulating overall operations of warehouse management providing transportation services for movement and shipment.

Receives and issues materials and supplies in support of customer requests. Reviews receipt documents and conducts physical inventory of items received at storage location. Processes receipts and stores items in proper location. Identifies discrepancies in transportation and packaging received and assists in preparing report of discrepancy reports per applicable Army regulation. Maintains positive control of all material received and shipped to the Project Support Activity (PSA). Receives all project material and ensures material is processed for storage and/or issue to customer units. Responsible for packing and crating for items received at the PSA or shipped to customer units. Utilize Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) to conduct inventories in accordance with the inventory schedule. Performs investigations to locate items that are stored in improper locations.

Performs stock status investigations, inputs data regarding status into the system, performs physical checks of items in storage as appropriate to determine the cause of errors and reconcile the records.

Inventories are performed at varied locations including; warehouses and storage yards. Maintains an accurate accounting and reporting of supply assets. This position requires proficiency in inventory, applicable automated system, and other reference tools. Operates forklifts, hand operated pallet jacks, and other lifting devices with capacities up to and including 10,000 lbs.

Also, operates a vehicle capable of hauling loads up to 1.5 tons for the purpose of pick-up and delivery of communication materials and supplies at locations across Korea, when required.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

Applicants must possess the Forklift Operator's license (under 3 tons) and the appropriate ROK driver's license (1st Class normal-type) and successfully pass a USFK performance test for the type of equipment to be operated.
