- Act as the liaison between the company and fisheries stakeholders, ensuring timely and transparent communication.
- Conduct consultations and engagement activities with fishermen, fishing organizations, and regulatory bodies in alignment with national regulations & global international industry practice
- Monitor project activities to assess potential impacts on fisheries and propose mitigation measures.
- Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with local, national, and international fisheries laws.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Fisheries Liaison Plans.
- Collect and analyze fisheries-related data to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare reports and briefings on fisheries-related issues for internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the company in meetings, workshops, and public forums related to fisheries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fisheries policies, marine legislation, and emerging industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Fisheries Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with fisheries, marine industries, or stakeholder engagement, especially in South Jeolla Province.
- Strong understanding of fisheries management, regulations, and industrial standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze fisheries-related data and prepare presentations or reports.
- Willingness to travel and work in offshore environments as needed

Role Summary:
The Fisheries Liaison Officer (FLO) will act as the primary point of contact between the company and the fishing industry, ensuring that all project activities align with marine and fisheries regulations while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships. The FLO will facilitate communication between offshore developers and fisheries stakeholders, mitigating conflicts and ensuring smooth project implementation.
This role will be based in Yeonggwang and Seoul.
