Position Summary
The Purchasing Coordinator, integral to the Procurement team, supports the supply chain management system, necessitating negotiation, communication, data analysis, MRO buying, and expediting skills.
Responsibilities
Responsible for procuring MROs, commercial off-the-shelf items, and generating outside process POs.
Generates Request for Quote (RFQ) packages and negotiates price and delivery schedules with vendors.
Manages projects and monitors critical orders to ensure timely delivery, collaborating closely with the Planning team to meet production requirements.
Ensures receipt and proper filing of all vendor-requested documents, and provides assistance with shipping, receiving, and other administrative tasks.
Requirements & Skills
Bachelor's degree or Higher
Minimum 9 years or more work experience in relevant field
Strong Communication and Computer Skills, particularly Microsoft Office
Industry knowledge or a willingness to learn is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and English language proficiency is essential.
