    The Finance Controller at Galderma South Korea will play a crucial role in assisting the market leadership team to achieve sustainable business growth and profitability. This position requires hands-on financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing financial processes, supporting business reviews, and ensuring compliance with corporate reporting standards.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for monthly forecasting, conducting hands-on analysis of actual vs. target and previous year on a monthly basis, and contributing to the annual budget process.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term business plans and strategies in collaboration with the market leadership team.
  • Control and manage OPEX and CAPEX budget and expenditure.
  • Support market leadership in preparing regular business reviews.
  • Manage corporate reporting packages accurately and ensure timely submission.
  • Support the business unit in pricing strategies, product launches, and ensuring profitable operations.
  • Assist the Head of Finance in funds management, credit and cash flow management, budgeting, financial control/reporting, and internal control systems and audits.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as required, under the supervision of the Head of Finance and the Country General Manager.
  • Experience/Competencies:

  • University degree, preferably majoring in finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • 8-12 years of experience in the industry, with a preference for sales and promotion, consumer, or pharmaceutical/aesthetic industry experience.
  • Good knowledge of the local context, specifically the consumer or pharmaceutical market.
  • Professional communication skills, with the ability to communicate respectfully.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on business growth and profitability.
  • Self-starter and quick learner, capable of adapting to a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT) and experience in Smartview.
