- System requirements development, decomposition, and allocation
- System functional analysis and functional decomposition

- Lead and support cross-functional teams, working groups, program, and customer meetings
- Work with SEIT team members to increase efficiency and quality of work products.
- Developing and delivering SEIT products such as architecture models/documents, requirements databases, specifications, reports, etc.
- Collaborating with customer organizations
- Mentoring and coaching (ensuring team understands & executes Visteon processes, ensuring quality of all the team's internal/external deliverables)
- Traveling periodically to support customer and supplier meetings
- Proposing technical solutions and supporting customer's system level designs
- Troubleshoot customer hardware and software issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with customer engineering teams and managements.
- Talk with OEM customers, understand their requirements and capture them in Visteon IT systems (Doors NG)
- Create system building block chart base on standard system platform architecture design
- Work with internal stake holders (application, software, validation engineers) to develop Visteon internal requirements, following Visteon development process and Automotive Spice process
- Handle customer project issues as a responsible system engineer
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Systems Engineering, Masters or PhD is desirable.
- Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics
- Experience in R4J, DNG, JIRA, RTC required.
- Experience in ISO26262 preferable.
- Experience in GUI development preferable.
- Advanced Korean level
- Higher than intermediate English level
- Strong business acumen and ability to negotiate with business partners.
- Strategy and planning skills. The ability to plan, goal set and prioritize in consideration of the company's overall strategic objectives.
- Understanding of the process for planning, creating, and deploying electrification products.
- Design the electrical system architecture in collaboration with the different competences to allocate the functions into different sub-systems (HW architecture, SW architecture, HSI, system interfaces ...). Refine the system requirements at the subsystems level.
- Contribute to the dependability process (System-FMEA, FTA) and quality process (Design FMEA).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze design concepts in order to demonstrate feasibility to meet requirements
- Demonstrated effectiveness to communicate with technical aptitude in systems engineering and negotiate with internal and external customers
- Ability to support, lead, and/or manage cross functional teams of EEs, MEs, SW, ECAD, Manufacturing
- Support customer RFQ proposal technical and commercial feasibility analysis
- Create a strategic roadmap, outlining short- and long-term core planning goals through the application of technology solutions.
- Capable to break down complex challenges into manageable parts.
- Initiate, plan, execute, control and close projects necessary within job scope.
- Conduct enterprise analysis, design, planning and implementation.
- Thorough understanding of system domains, system integration and design as well as emerging technologies trends and practices.
- Effectively manage vendor relationships and deliverables timely.
- Drives team towards greater levels of performance & accountability.

The mission of this role: The mission of this role is to be the customer facing support for digital cluster systems to support our global customers.
Scope of the role: Technical leadership and oversight for systems engineering for digital cluster products
Responsibilities
This role will ensure other engineering disciplines have a common understanding as the team delivers the product. The role requires working with OEM customers, which includes understanding and analyzing customer requirements and component specifications. They also must have a detailed understanding of vehicle/network architecture and how components interact. This role will provide design support through the production launch of the product and will perform vehicle, breadboard, plant testing and troubleshooting, capturing logs and other measurements to determine root cause of issues.
