Finance Specialist - Cheongju, North Chungcheong

Job summary

Finance Specialist responsible for FX related accounting / analysis, balance sheet account reconciliations, and fixed asset management.

Responsibilities

• FX related accounting / analysis for both Realized and Unrealized
• Perform relevant Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accurate accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/entries/schedules
• Reconciliation between Oracle and financial books on a daily basis to ensure all transactions are properly recorded on a timely basis
• Support for month-end close to ensure timely and accurate completion and reporting of financial information
• Provide business finance guidance on Fixed Assets and coordinate with business for proper Fixed Asset accounting
• List up all the fixed assets and the Fixed Asset Sub-ledger management.
• Create,dispose and transfer Fixed Assets and depreciate it monthly.
• Monitor any fixed asset disposal in line with corporate guidance and local regulations especially for tax purposes
• Manage all Capex reconciliations between AOP and Actual/Fcst with a focus on cash flow for assinged areas
• Support AOP (Annual Operating Plan) for Fixed assets, Payables, Tax and related Expense/Cost
• Anlayze, Report Expense trend by function, month, quarter and year through working with relevant teams to ensure the business is on track
• Support semi-annual / annual external audits and other financial statement audits as required
• Key contributor for Tax filing including VAT, Income Tax Filing and any subsequent amendment
• Collaborate with IT and business team members on ERP system stabilization to ensure proper accounting for new business initiatives including project management and testing of system changes
• Support Duty Refund through working together with relevant teams
• Manage corporate card spending reporting on a monthly basis and support any tax related issues of corporate card
• Train internal expense policy and the way to use I-expense & I-pro system technically for new employee

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 Years of financial planning, reporting and analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
• Fluent English (Written & Spoken) – not required but preferred
• Advanced skills in Excel. Strongly proficient skills in Word, PowerPoint; Experience with Oracle.
• Highly adaptable in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with others at all levels and functions across the Company including delegating, training and coaching accounting staff.
• Fast learner with strong organization, analytical and decision-making skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency while delivering high-quality work products
