General Summary

Orum Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated Finance Business Partner (Reporting Manager) to join our Finance team in Daejeon. This role is integral to delivering accurate, timely, and actionable management reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making. Acting as the "CFO" of dynamic, startup-style projects/programs within Orum's fast-paced R&D ecosystem, the Finance Business Partner will be the primary liaison between Finance and the cross-functional team; in particular Project/Program Management to ensure effective financial planning, tracking, and reporting. This is a unique opportunity to embed yourself in one of Orum's most strategic initiatives —our Resource Allocation Endeavor. You'll bring clarity and control to a multi-national, complex, multi-project/program environment and shape how R&D finance supports innovation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• ​​Management Reporting: Own the production and continuous improvement of financial reports and dashboards. Ensure reporting systems and processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with business needs.
• Forecasting and Tracking: Collaborate with Functional Groups and Project/Program Managers to collect and consolidate financial forecasts related to project/program activities. Track progress against these forecasts with a high level of accuracy and transparency.
• Project/Program Financial Oversight: Monitor purchase orders (POs), invoices, and actuals against project/program budgets and milestones. Identify variances and provide
• timely insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Researchers, Project/Program Managers, and the broader Finance team to align on project/program timelines, resource allocation, and key deliverables.
• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance reporting workflows and financial processes to better support a growing number of complex, high-stakes projects.

Skills, Abilities & Competencies

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with finance, focused on FP&A activities such as budgeting/forecasting, report generation, and monthly/quarterly reporting packages (experience working in biotech preferred).
• Demonstrated experience with report preparation using planning tools such as smartsheet, adaptive, or other business intelligence solutions.
• Highly skilled working with MS Excell and other cloud solutions such as Smartsheet, including knowledge of advance skills such as pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, and data modeling.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity
• Working understanding of accounting processes including month end closing and expense accruals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions
• Professional-level English proficiency (written and spoken) required + Fluent Korean
• ​Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced biotech environment while thriving in a collaborative, and global multidisciplinary team setting.
• ​Excellent oral and written communication and time-management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• ​Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.​

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Master's degree preferred, but not required. Level will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.

자격요건

• 재무 관련 경력 3년 이상, FP&A (리포트 생성, 월별/분기별 보고서 패키지) 경험 (바이오텍 근무 경험 우대)
• 월말 마감 및 비용 발생 처리 등 회계 프로세스에 대한 기본 이해
• 고급 수준의 Excel 및 데이터 분석 역량 (피벗 테이블, 수식, 데이터 모델링 등)
• 높은 데이터 정확성과 디테일 관리 역량
• 다양한 부서와의 협업이 가능한 커뮤니케이션 역량
• 영어 문서 작성 및 비즈니스 회화 능력
• 빠르게 변화하는 환경 속에서 독립적으로 업무를 수행할 수 있는 역량
