    Position

    The Marketing Manager/Senior Brand Manager will focus on defining and implementing the marketing strategy in order to build the responsible brands' presence and business in the market. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering creative plans and activations, managing associated A&P budgets, ensuring the financial objectives are met, and managing direct reports.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    BRAND STRATEGY

  • Define clear, concise and creative strategies as part of the brand planning process that drive awareness, profitability and market share in line with the company and Maison objectives, for review and approval by the Head of Marketing and Managing Director.
  • Develop brand and product expertise, and a strong sense of market dynamics through training, market visits, and frequent customer interactions.
  • Leverage business analysis including sales, market trends, competition, consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the plans and activations comply with the company regulations and standards MARKETING ACTIVATIONS
  • Ensure the successful implementation of all activations, events, and product launches by developing the necessary marketing guidelines, materials, and sales tools in line with brand strategy.
  • Liaise and engage with the sales force to ensure they have the right tools, and information in time to ensure smooth implementation of trade activations.
  • Set channel objectives in collaboration with the sales team and business planning team.
  • Oversee POSM orders and usage, including regular strategic reviews of inventory.
  • Work closely with the Maisons to align strategic directions, big bets, brand events, media plan & execution and local initiative programs.
  • Understand and utilize different digital platforms and technologies to strengthen the brand activations.
  • Establish contacts with key press and KOLs in co-ordination with PR agencies, to achieve press & media coverage.
  • Work with external agencies as necessary for development of tools and implementation of programs.
  • Act as Brand Ambassador for consumer events and/or trade training.
  • Monitor KPIs of marketing programs and evaluate effectiveness to pursue continuous brand development.
  • Responsible for communication and custodianship of brand strategies internally, and influence the commercial program to be in line with the brand strategy. FINANCE & OPERATIONS
  • Manage and track A&P budget, ensuring spend is prioritized against brand priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with SC Team in managing sales forecasting, ensuring product availability, inventory ageing, and avoiding out of stock situations.
  • Ensure financial objectives for all brands are met by closely monitoring volume, NSI, A&P and MOP and closely monitoring selective distribution. TEAM ROLE
  • Set strategic direction with the team so they deliver the brand and business objectives.
  • Become a respected player within MHCWK and work closely with Sales and Finance teams to gain input and support to effectively execute commercial plans.
  • Ensure close working relationships with the rest of the Marketing Team and leverage their knowledge and expertise to further develop and enhance strategies.
  • Work closely with Customer Marketing Team and leverage their expertise to develop stronger plans.
  • Work effectively in Market/Maison/MHAP matrix.
    Profile REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10+ years marketing or sales experience in related fields, preferably in luxury consumer goods
  • Solid experience in leading 360 marketing programs by managing ATL/BTL and working closely with commercial team
  • Knowledge of wines & spirits is preferred
  • Experience in brand events and Media buying experience
  • Experience in consumer-facing initiatives targeting luxury consumers by creating local contents
  • Organized and structured, capable of dealing with several tasks and deadlines simultaneously, collaborating with multiple internal and external teams
  • Good commercial sense
