    About the TeamThe User Operations team at TikTok Korea plays a pivotal role as the think-tank department responsible for upholding content quality on our platform and nurturing relationships with various creators and the TikTok community.

    This team is dedicated to fostering our rapidly expanding short video community through innovative partnerships with various media, trendsetting, and maintaining a strong local presence.

    In this role, you will be responsible for developing the TikTok high-quality professional content partnerships with publisher partners in Korea including TV stations, movie, drama, and entertainment shows production studios, major OTTs, gaming and sports license holders, food and fashion studios, webtoons and all other media and professional content production studios, rights holders and distribution companies.

    You will manage TikTok's publisher team and collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders to foster the growth ofTikTok content quality and diversity.

    As an advocate of TikTok's publisher content ecosystem in Korea, you will drive initiatives for publisher growth, globalization, and digitalization by driving external partnerships and cross-functional initiatives.

    You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to implement the local execution of global projects and the global expansion of local K-content.

    You will also serve as a representative of the TikTok publisher strategy in external events and media. Responsibilities
    • Lead the development of TikTok's publisher ecosystem in Korea.
    Provide insights, understanding, and leadership in addressing challenges and opportunities.
    • Assume a cross functional leadership role in defining business objectives, formulating strategies, and creating implementation plans.
    Drive alignment among Marketing, GR, PR, Product, Sales, and other domestic/global cross-functional teams.
    • Identify market requirements and spearhead the introduction of necessary products and features to ensure the success of partners based on close collaboration with the product team.
    • Supervise day to day operations and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including partners and related industry associations.
    • Take charge of assessing, measuring, and analyzing the overall performance of the partners against key metrics.
    Additionally, optimize operational workflows and processes.
    • Develop and execute a strategy for partner education and content globalization.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Master's degree, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree, would be a plus. 10+ years of experience in content acquisition, distribution, production and digitalization in renowned companies in Korea 5+ years of experience in TV content partnerships in Korea
    • Possesses a robust network and strong relationships within relevant industries.
    • Experience in crossfunctional project management.
    • Ability to make datadriven decisions, build robust strategies, and forecast trends based on strong data analytics skills.
    • Ability to speak and write in English and Korean to support cross collaboration with different functions and regions.
    • Experience in leadership and platform ecosystem building in the global content platform or local renowned content and digital companies.
    • Ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys to discuss complete agreements, would be a plus.
    • Ability to foster an inclusive environment supporting diversity initiatives across teams, and operate with flexibility in a fastpaced, constantly evolving, collaborative environment.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
