    Hauptaufgaben


    As Supply Technician, assists the Property Book Officer (PBO) in operational planning, organizing and direction of the organization program.

    Provides to Property Book Officer (PBO) and IPBO supervisor for review and submission of supply data required for inclusion in the Command Operating Budget (COB) relative to requirements and maintenance of property and contracts.

    Shares with supervisors' compilation and recording of data on quantitative and monetary value of Inventory to include number and value of items on hand, on order and in maintenance.

    Plans and determines the distribution and positioning/propositioning of material among major supply stations, stock points, or using activities assuring that sufficient material of the correct kind is positioned so as to be available to meet predicted requirements.

    Included are planning, coordinating and directing the distribution or redistribution of material from supply points, drop points, issue points or using activities; distributing stock from initial procurements to meet retention or reserve objections; maintaining balanced stock levels through economical redistribution and diversion of shipments; determine whether to procure or to redistribute material; routing material directly to using activities rather than to intermediate depot sites; and other similar work.

    Responsible for planning and coordinating the disposition of excess property.

    Develops plans and procedures controlling the analysis of inventory status and excess property reports; prepares and/or recommends disposition instructions and initiates the distribution of excess property to meet requisitioning demands; and recommends adjustments of factors controlling the establishment of retention levels on the basis of excess property.

    Plans, schedules and organizes various physical inventory activities and prepares inventory reports as required.

    Assists supervisor' on all matters affecting the supply posture and making recommendations as appropriate in maintaining hand receipts, historical property records, requisitions, procurement requests, supply inventory and adjustment report (AAR), property control record on Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) supply system and Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL).

    Assists supervisor in directing and managing the accomplishment of activities concerned with supply/equipment management to include; determining requirements and establishing stock levels to assure adequate supply transition based on past experience and anticipated demands; determining appropriate method for obtaining equipment/supplies based on knowledge of procurement/supply regulations; receiving, prioritizing, and processing customer requisitions to ensure accuracy, authenticity, and compliance with established regulations; maintaining all installation/organizational property book records on the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).

    Reviews the accuracy of reported findings and recommendations of audits, inspections, surveys, and studies related to assigned missions/ functions. Establishes schedules for and supervises and/or conduct cyclic and special inventories as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
