Hauptaufgaben
Performs a variety of tasks in support of various recreational programs and activities, requiring practical knowledge of a variety of recreational activities and skill in maintaining and using recreational materials and equipment.
Checks identification to assure only authorized personnel are admitted to the recreational activity or facility. Checks in and safeguards property of patrons and returns when claimed. Collects and turns in fees to superior or responsible personnel. Schedules patrons or otherwise controls utilization of facilities/equipment after assuring fees are paid. Issues recreational materials and equipment for individual activities and, if required, prepares sign out sheet. Assists patrons in setting up or utilizing recreational equipment. Accepts equipment/materials after use, checks condition, checks off sign out sheet. May clean or make minor repairs to equipment and otherwise prepare it for reuse. Assists employee of higher grade in preparation for, and operation of, scheduled activities.Assists with setting up space and materials, instructing and guiding participants in activity performance, maintains discipline, observes progress/performance and reports potential problems to activity leader.
Polices and maintains work/activity area(s) in clean, orderly and hazard-free condition. Performs other duties as assigned.
