Korea Foods Supply Chain Manager
is responsible for end-to-end management of the customer and commercial supply chain primarily for Korea and support for Japan, ensuring seamless coordination across forecasting, order management, co-manufacturers, logistics, and market operations. It drives demand planning, integrated business planning, and innovation projects while maintaining high service levels, operational excellence, and compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Acting as the key interface with distributors/retailers, co-manufacturers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders, the role ensures timely execution of orders, efficient supply chain operations, successful product launches, and continuous process improvements to support business growth.

Responsibilities
What you are responsible for:

• End-to-End Customer & Commercial Supply Chain Interface

(Primarily focusing on Korea and support for Japan)

• Forecast Ownership – Drive demand forecasting and planning, ensuring alignment with commercial teams, distributors, Retail Chain and source hubs to deliver business objectives.
• Integrated Business Planning – Lead weekly S&OE cycles and contribute to S&OP processes, balancing supply and demand while identifying risks and opportunities.
• Innovation & Growth Support – Partner with commercialization and marketing teams to integrate new product launches (NPD) and AOP into demand plans.
• Performance & Compliance – Monitor forecast accuracy, track shipments and service levels, and ensure compliance with GCS and internal governance standards.
• Market & Stakeholder Engagement – Act as the key liaison with distributors, brokers, and logistics partners, ensuring end-to-end visibility and proactive issue resolution.
• Oversea the customer order execution end-to-end, including alignment on DC cut-off times, order windows, delivery calendars, and prioritization during supply constraints.
• Track and report customer-facing KPIs (OTIF, shelf availability, DC fill rate, inventory turns by channel) and drive cross-functional actions to close gaps.
• Supply Chain & Co-Man Management
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with co-manufacturers in Korea, overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure production, quality, and service KPIs are consistently met.
• Drive service performance with a target of at least 95% service level across all co-man.
• Consolidate and process orders, monitor fulfilment, and track forecast accuracy to support reliable supply execution.
• Coordinate supply planning for key raw ingredients and packaging materials with co-man to maintain healthy buffer levels and avoid production disruptions.
• Participate in strategic capacity planning to ensure plants have sufficient capability to support business growth.
• Ensure supplier reliability by resolving operational issues promptly and developing sustainable solutions to disputes or disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (GP, R&D, Marketing, etc.) on productivity and improvement initiatives, including supplier qualification and product trials.
• Lead vendor development and provide end-to-end support for commercialization, covering volume, pricing, timelines, supply chain management, manufacturing processes, raw material specifications, customs clearance, tariffs, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the potential setup of new co-man in line with PepsiCo's Co-Man Process, including risk assessments, pre-screening, audits, product qualification, compliance verification, approvals, and performance management.
• Logistics & Distribution Management (Including Retail DC & Store Delivery)
• Manage inbound and international logistics, including forwarder and 3PL performance monitoring, KPI tracking, and contract coordination with GP.
• Oversee domestic and retail fulfilment by coordinating 3PL warehouse operations, stock movement, and retail DC inbound schedules.
• Ensure store delivery readiness and timely execution of deliveries.
• Resolve freight issues, handle claims, and drive continuous improvement in transportation and distribution processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain execution across inbound, warehouse, and retail delivery operations.
• Order Management & Market Operations – Leadership & Management
• Provide leadership and manage end-to-end order management for distributors and retail chains, ensuring timely processing, confirmation, and coordination with hubs and co-manufacturers.
• Drive SAP transactions, including month-end closing, reconciliation with Finance, DMO setup for NPD, and pricing updates.
• Own GCS compliance as the process owner, maintaining records and ensuring timely submission.
• Supervise shipment execution and tracking, including port clearance, 3PL coordination, and delivery to retail DCs.
• Resolve daily operational issues with retail DCs and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth market operations and high service levels.
• Monitor performance metrics across order management and shipment processes, driving improvements and operational excellence
• Innovation / Project Management
• Collaborate with the commercialization team to drive innovation projects and deliver timely, successful launches.
• Collaborate with PD on commercial runs of new products, validating manufacturing processes and ensuring prototype and field-ready samples meet standards.
• Coordinate line extension projects in collaboration with regional teams.
• Negotiate with co-man and suppliers on minimum runs, lead times, and coordinate required documentation for product registration.
• Lead the execution of new artwork development, communicating material run-down plans with suppliers, co-man, and meet timelines while minimizing material write-offs.
• Liaise among co-man, logistic team, and forwarders to select the most appropriate vessel for shipments, balancing lead time, cost, and special requirements.
• Drive continuous process improvements with co-man and key vendors to shorten timelines, eliminate non-value-added activities, and accelerate project delivery.
• Food Safety & Quality Governance (Partner with QC Lead to provide on the ground support)
• Partner with the QC Lead to ensure compliance with PepsiCo Food Safety and Quality programs across partner plants, co-manufacturers, and distributors.
• Oversee implementation and monitoring of food safety standards (HACCP, PEM, Allergen Management, IPM, AIB, FSM) and SQA requirements, including supplier and new co-man qualification.
• Coordinate training, pre-audits, audits, and rollout of new food safety and quality programs to ensure audit readiness.
• Lead onsite coordination and issue management for food safety incidents and quality complaints with plants and distributors.
• Monitor quality performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective and preventive actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure full product traceability across the supply chain and support continuous improvement of laboratory and analytical capabilities.
• Engage regional and sector technical experts as needed to resolve complex quality issues and strengthen overall quality performance.
• Provide support for Regulatory Affairs (SRA) – Korea
• Overseeing compliance with domestic and international food laws, working closely with customs brokers and relevant government agencies.
• Ensuring compliance with Korean food import regulations, including MFDS import declarations and food labeling standards.
• Acting as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and inspection bodies such as MFDS, QIA, and third-party testing laboratories.
• Ensure regulatory standards are embedded into commercialization, innovation, and quality programs.

Qualifications
What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline related to Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Food Science & Technology.
• Minimum 8-10 years of proven experience in food operations, including supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and demand/supply planning.
• Expeirence in Retail and FMCG experience would be highly prefferred
• Strong knowledge of Korea Food Act and related regulatory requirements, particularly in supply chain management.
• Experience in quality and food safety audits (HACCP, ISO, AIB).
• Native Korean speaker with business fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Logical thinker with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
• Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and in a global environment.
• Good understanding of trade and tariff agreements.
• Proficiency in digital and analytical tools; experience with Power BI is an advantage.
