As a graduate research assistant currently at the biomedical informatics and systems lab (GIST, S. Korea), I am exploring the field of AI in healthcare and instrumentation, image and signal processing, neural disease diagnosis, and rehabilitation utilizing machine learning, and deep learning.

I am a biomedical research assistant with a Bachelor's degree, a Diploma in Electro-Medical Engineering, and years of experience performing laboratory research and creating prototypes of experimental medical devices. My first review article as a first author was published in the journal Physics after I presented it at the International Conference on Biomedical Engineering, which was indexed by Scopus (ICoBE2021). My undergraduate thesis, which was part of a PhD research project, was based on CFD simulation. Due to my collaboration on two research projects with E-life solution Plt. and Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany, my biomedical knowledge has improved tremendously. Throughout my academic career, I worked in faculty laboratories and contributed to a variety of research initiatives. As a research assistant in the bioinformatics and signal analysis LAB, GIST in South Korea, I am now researching AI in healthcare and instrumentation, imaging and signal processing, neural disease diagnosis, and rehabilitation utilizing machine learning and deep learning, MatLab, PRAAT, and 3D printing. In addition, I am enhancing my understanding of Python, Tensor Board, PyTorch, LaTex, MatLab, CFD simulations, PRAAT, and Solid Works.

Multiple literature reviews, answering research questions, formulating hypotheses, and defining research objectives were all part of the internship tasks. I worked with a different team to develop a sensor-based, wireless hand gesture control system, in addition to reporting and analyzing findings, making projections, and suggesting solutions. My summer internship with Siemens Healthineers includes installing and maintaining CT, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, and MRI scanners. We worked on the COVID-19 health and safety project and the intelligent hospital management system as E-life Solution PLT research interns. Furthermore, I learned Python and MatLab programming. We used Wi-Fi modules to run and monitor sensors throughout the project. Proteus ISIS and Quartus were also used to build and simulate the circuit. The skills listed above will help me resolve any research, laboratory, or writing challenges that may arise.
