SUMMARY OF POSITION
Corporate Business Development & Strategy position supports in a variety of strategic planning and new business development initiatives. Specific responsibilities include: (1) evaluating potential business development deals; (2) providing financial and strategic support in executing mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, investments and joint ventures; and (3) assisting in the development of long-term strategy for RNTS divisions which include mobile platforms, games and educational content.
[ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ]
Supports RNTS divisions in the analysis and execution of mergers & acquisitions, including preparing financial models and valuation analyses, developing strategic rationale, conducting due diligence and reviewing agreements.
? Support in a variety of strategic planning and new business development initiatives
? Evaluate potential business development deals and prepare financial models for new business development initiatives (e.g. partnerships, joint ventures, equity investments, expansion into complementary businesses)
? Closely monitors industry trends and competitive dynamics, and prepares presentations summarizing industry segments or reporting on individual companies.
? Work closely with RNTS each business leader to assist with strategy and investments as well as coordinate projects that span multiple divisions
? Assist CEO in the development of strategy for RNTS businesses which include mobile games, app store, and education content business for kids
? Support RNTS senior executives in the preparation of materials to be presented to RNTS' Board of Directors
[JOB REQUIREMENTS]
? MBA degree preferred
? Minimum 5-10 years of work experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or strategy in related media & entertainment field
? Experience preparing complex financial models and valuation analyses for mergers & acquisitions or similar strategic initiatives
? Experience analysing detailed company financial statements
? Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
? Strong research and analytical skills required
? Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet various deadlines
? Ability to work independently
? Knowledge of media landscape and trends a plus
? Bilingual in Korean and English
