Team Description:

Coupang Private Label Compliance & Safety team is looking for a smart, energetic, hard-working, and creative member to join our team. The successful candidate shows a good understanding of the regulatory compliance management system and continually improves their knowledge about Coupang's business, platform, and relevant technologies. This exciting and challenging position provides regulatory compliance support in the Seoul Coupang office to ensure product safety, conformity, reliability, and customer satisfaction. We are looking for overall regulatory compliance talents, especially Consumer Products and/or Electronic products, with direct/indirect experience in product manufacturing, testing, packaging, and other compliance and quality strategies to support our rapidly growing and evolving business.What are the things you need this person to do? (up to 7 points)

Provide SME-level support to compliance management in Jikgu business with the essential knowledge to develop compliance and quality requirements.

Compose product/marking compliance requirements for Jikgu in active interactions with other stakeholders.

Conduct audit to design and launch corrective/preventive action plans to enhance the compliance level of Jikgu offers based on concrete data analysis.

Report product compliance/quality performance to develop better procedures and systems.

Develop and manage programs that will improve operational productivity and efficiency.

Collaborate with technical teams to improve system usability and effectiveness.

Guide overseas sellers & QC operators on requirements and provide training.

Possess a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done promptly.

Must be able to think creatively and possess problem-solving skills.

Essential Qualifications: (up to 5 points)

Bachelor's degree required with a Science or Engineering focus with basic knowledge of product compliance and quality requirements in the consumer products industry

Minimum of 3 years of experience with consumer product compliance and quality program management

Solid attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to communicate with the internal and external cross-functional teams with members that are a mixture of technical and non-technical professionals

Must be able to use Excel, Word, and other typical desktop software applications

Preferred Qualifications: (up to 5 points)

Fluent (verbal and written) in Korean and English

Good knowledge of consumer product regulations in the Korean marketplace

Previous experience in fast-paced online consumer retail operations

A mix of regulatory compliance and project management supporting experience with Private Label products

Presentation and training delivery experience
