    Hauptaufgaben

    Serves as Workforce Management Specialist with responsibility for accomplishing a variety of human resources, personnel administration, management support, operational functions, personnel management programs, performance management, and other related administrative and management tasks and initiatives.

    Advises MSC-K, its subordinate organizations, supervisors, division chiefs and other key personnel in coordinating and directing civilian related personnel administration and management work for the command headquarters and subordinate organizations.

    Advises supervisors and CHR liaisons of MSC-K and subordinate units in coordinating and directing programs and activities, with focus in providing expertise and guidance in all areas of civilian personnel management programs.

    Coordinates with 8A Directorate of Human Resources Management (DHRM) to provide guidance and advisement to all subordinate segments of the command to enhance streamlined management processes of the civilian personnel programs and missions within subordinate commands and organizations of the 19th ESC.

    Performs a variety of personnel management tasks for all assigned Department of the Army Civilian (DAC) and Korean National (KN) employees through coordination with Leads, Supervisors and Directors of all operating elements; advises necessary actions through discussion with 8A Directorate of Human Resources Management (DHRM), supervisors, and the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) to process personnel actions including recruitments, reassignments, promotions, terminations, separations, position establish, position abolish, temporary promotion, detail actions, and Foreign Overseas Tour Extensions for DAC and KN reappointments.

    Oversees and monitors personnel administration on such matters as employee performance appraisals, and U.S. tour extension program.

    Serves as liaison among 8A DHRM, MSC-K Command, MSC-K's subordinate battalions, management, supervisors, CPAC, and higher headquarters, reviews CHR programs and provides guidance, assistance and advisement on personnel policy to staff elements and subordinate elements before and after personnel action submissions.

    Coordinating with 8A DHRM, advises and assists MSC-K Command, MSC-K's subordinate battalions, management, and supervisors in classifying and evaluating civilian positions ensuring accuracy and consistency with established position management and classification principles, practices, policies, standards, and regulations.

    Advises supervisors in preparing accurate position descriptions (PD), processing classification appeals, implementing new classification standards, and explaining classification to employees.

    Reviews and advises on position descriptions and evaluation statements with appropriate classification standards. Reviews and forwards proposed position description to the CPAC for final certification and implementation. 3.

    Reviews incoming correspondence and directives from higher authority to determine required action, its applicability and/or changes to SOPs and policies, and coordinates with action officer in the development of integrated implementation.

    Reviews outgoing correspondence and/or reports for accuracy, propriety of substances and consistency of action with established policy. Supports Korean National employees' performance evaluation. Monitors and reports submission compliance. Counsels managers, supervisors, and employees on evaluation requirements. Reviews submitted evaluations for correctness prior to submission to CPACs or entry into AutoNOA. Provides advice and assistance on the processes.

    Reviews honorary and monetary awards to ensure appropriateness of the award, sufficiency of justification and prepares the appropriate endorsements or obtains appropriate approvals.

    Performs other duties as assigned.
