EunJung Kim

Hi, I am EunJung Kim.
I am studying at Hanyang University ERICA as a major in Media Technology, Division of ICT, College of Computing, and Major in Computer, Division of Software, College of Computing.

Currently, I am staying in Texas Austin since I came here as an exchange student at The University of Texas at Austin. At UT Austin, I am majoring in the Department of Computer Science, College of Natural Sciences.

I had lived in Singapore for about 4 years and graduated the middle and high school there. It was hard to go to school abroad when I was a student since it was so difficult to adapt to the environment at first, but looking back, it was the experience that grew me the most. I was able to acquire English skills along with adapting to unfamiliar environments.

There are three tracks in Media Technology major of the Division of ICT, and I am currently completing AI&Data Analytics and IoT Service tracks among the three tracks. Therefore, I am very interested in AI/ML/DL, IoT, and Backend web programming and Data Engineering according to my major tracks.

Part-Time Undergraduate Researcher, Ansan, South Korea | January 2022 – May 2022 
Professor Choi's startup company

• Performed artificial intelligence seminars and research projects for voice recognition in Professor Byung Kyu Choi's startup company.
• Participated in the development of voice recognition artificial intelligence services and performed tasks for data preprocessing.
• Performed general maintenance and repair also.

Undergraduate Researcher (URP), Ansan, South Korea | April 2021 – August 2021 
Professor Cho's lab

• Researched about NB-IoT/LTE Cat-M1 based low latency, high reliability, multi-purpose integrated ECG telemetry platform in URP Research Project with Professor Yongwoo Cho.
• The following projects were carried out during the URP activities.
  –  Progressing IoT project through Raspberry Pi (development of home assistant service)
  –  2021 Top Conference thesis analysis and R&D project proposal preparation
