My experience trying to get a job as a developer has been a challenging but rewarding journey. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science, I set out to find job opportunities as a developer. I started by networking with developers I had met through college, attended industry meet-ups, and reading the latest technology publications.

Upon completing my job search, I soon discovered that many companies wanted several years of working experience before they would hire me. This came as a bit of a shock, since during school I had developed a wide range of skills and even built a few projects. It was disappointing to see that my hard work wasn't being recognized by employers.

However, I refused to give up. Instead, I began exploring different areas of the industry and found a great opportunity in freelancing, which allowed me to build experience, gain clients, and increase my skillset. I also took the time to learn new languages and frameworks, as well as found ways to improve my already existing skills.

Fast-forward to now and I am confident in my abilities and I have the experience employers are looking for. I plan on continuing to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, growing my network, and completing more projects. I'm also in the process of getting certified in my current skillset and taking classes for additional languages.

My goal once I graduate is to continue freelancing while being proactive in my job search. I want to find a job where I can use my skills and develop them further while also becoming an asset to any team I work with. Together, my experience and drive will be an invaluable addition to any organization.

Education I am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in South Korea and have recently completed an exchange semester in Switzerland.

Studying in South Korea has given me valuable insights into the culture and learning environment of the country, from the language to the way of life. I am impressed by the quality of education available, especially technological advancements the country has seen in recent years. During my studies, I have also been able to explore the historic sites, festivals, and other attractions that make South Korea such an amazing place to visit and to live.

My semester abroad in Switzerland has been an unforgettable experience in terms of academic and personal growth. The courses I took allowed me to explore new ideas, critically evaluate perspectives, and expand my knowledge of international affairs. Through my travels, I was able to gain a better understanding of different cultures and to meet people of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

I'm excited to combine the skills and knowledge I’ve gained during my time in South Korea and Switzerland to pursue my future academic and professional goals. My experiences have taught me to be an independent learner and have helped me develop into a more open-minded individual.

I am confident that with my skill set, I can make meaningful contributions to any classroom or organization. I hope to continue learning and developing on my journey and eventually make lasting impacts on the international community.
