    Role Summary

    The Cluster Lead leads the alignment and enables the strategy and excellence for patient access, public policy and government affairs, and provides relevant expertise, partnership and strategic input into Government and PAG projects. The Cluster lead is responsible for the areas of Access & Policy leads 4 chapters, Regulatory affairs, Market Access and Quality Assurance, Quality control and Healthcare System Shaping and Partnering.

    The Cluster Lead demonstrates Creative Leadership competencies and plays the roles of Visionary, Architect, Catalyst and Coach; developing and empowering Roche employees to innovate, collaborate, be authentic and own their meaningful impact on patient access, PAG engagement, public policy and healthcare systems.

    The Cluster Lead, is a member of the Affiliate Enabling Team and contributes to setting strategy, goals and P&L on an affiliate level, in accordance with affiliate decision making principles. This role reports to the GM.

    Your key responsibilities

  • Develop, adapt and execute strategies to deliver affiliate outcomes.
  • Ensure the Access and Policy teams can contribute with the required skills and capabilities to address key challenges and objectives of the portfolio on behalf of the organization.
  • Be an exceptional Coach (who provides leadership) of the Chapter Leads/Members within the cluster, with a Creative Leadership mindset and the VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) roles, and more broadly as required, to ensure individuals and teams are developing and growing in line with their passion and the needs of the organization
  • Acting as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the center of all actions by consistent business behavior that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche's Code of Conduct.
  • Accountable for fostering a culture where every individual, across the organization, is able to bring their whole self & passion to work
  • Be an inspirational leader who can create a compelling vision where diverse technical disciplines can align, develop to pursue the long-term/mid-term affiliate outcome
  • Ensure accountability for cluster's performance in collaborative ways towards the shared outcomes.
  • Manage resources in terms of budget, people and capabilities in line with the organizational principles
  • Who you are

  • Well-rounded experience and proven knowledge in Patient Access, Regulatory Affairs, Healthcare policy shaping, Patient Advocacy Group engagement, Government affairs(MFDS, MOHW, HIRA, NHIS), and Quality Management.
  • Strong experience in leading high performance teams
  • Partnerships with customers and organizations (both externally and with peers / across broader internal organization)
  • Strength in agile working principles and methodologies
  • Experience to develop and implement strategic plans across complex healthcare environments
  • Experience to lead complex multidisciplinary teams and operating under ambiguity without a set playbook
