    As a Project Specialist for Motion Business Area in Seoul, South Korea, you will be Responsible for project management for the traction and e-mobility solutions such as traction inverters and motors, Aux converters, ESS, Mobile e-power products, etc. within a designated market, and support the local sales activities accordingly.

    Traction Business Development manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Managing the local projects including the global projects created by local OEMs, and focus on customer relation-ship for assigned Traction division
    • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full Product and Systems offering/Commissioning/After services, and align to provide the suitable solution. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
    • Managing the local project and secure the project success. Coordinating all progresses between the Product group and local customers, and support and resolve commercial and technical project issues on projects
    • Preparing sales plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls
    • Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques. Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
    • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
    • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed. Supporting offering/bidding in coordination with the Sales Marketing Manager
    • Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions

    Your background

    • Major in Electrical Engineering or any equivalent qualification
    • Over 2 years of working experience in Railway field
    • Good understanding on internal and external market trend and solutions linked to ABB Traction
    • Sales skill and Technical competency in Drives and Motors Industries
    • Learning competency on new technology
    • Communication/Negotiation skill in English and Korean
