Summary
Responsible to grow the BD Biosciences (BDB) business in South Korea by leading the organization and directing the associates to meet the strategic and financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering overall BDB Korea's business objectives with full P&L responsibility.
Develop and implement strategic BDB sales, marketing, clinical and service goals.
Increase market share and strengthen customer portfolio to achieve significant growth and gain relevance in the market.
Establish and delegate operational objectives and assignments while optimizing resource allocation and projects between the various product areas to achieve sales results and OIBT goals.
Establish and manage relationships with customers, distributors, and government bodies to achieve business goals.
As a member of Korea Leadership Team, participate in the formulation of business goals and initiatives that contribute to the growth of Korea organization.
Support in-country initiatives and projects as requested by the Country GM Korea or VP of BDB, Central Asia, South Asia, Japan (CASAJ)
Create strong rapport with all levels of BD associates across the region.
Lead & develop business managers and their teams
Requirements:
Ideally, MBA or other advanced graduate degree
A minimum 15 years of sales and marketing experience preferably in consumable sales and with recent leadership role in the healthcare industry.
People leadership experience
Experience in setting direction and providing effective solutions and initiatives to manage a growing industry/market segment
Extensive knowledge of Korean healthcare markets, practices, channel, and distributor management
Proven experience in managing P&L for a business
Strong business acumen and result oriented
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skill
Willingness to travel
Ability to work well in a matrix organization
