Job introduction
The product manager of Order Distribution & Fulfilment (ODF) is responsible for driving the design and development of Coupang's order distribution systems. These systems provide optimized real time recommendations for how customers' orders should be fulfilled across Coupang's extensive fulfilment centre infrastructure while optimizing for customer experience and cost. The role of the product owner is to understand business goals and objectives whilst translating those into technical roadmaps for the ODF team. This role is very hands-on and requires a structured mindset, strong analytical skills, effective communication, and detailed project management capabilities. This role sits very closely to leadership teams, has extremely high visibility and direct impact on business and cost metrics
Job Overview
Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and KPIs of a specific area of Order Fulfillment optimization
Manage the entire product life cycle from inception to launch, including writing product requirements, defining use cases, and setting success metrics
Identify opportunities to improve key business metrics by identifying ODF led initiatives originated through order distribution initiatives
Define new projects with clear goals and timelines achieved through multi-party communication and detailed project management processes
Inspire the team with the product vision and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
Build a best-in-class order distribution backend system that meets the business objectives and continues to exceed customer experience in terms of meeting delivery promises while managing organizational costs
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, including developing, delivering and executing on a strong product vision
Analytical thinker who works well in a fast-paced, data-driven and highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects
Bias for action and willingness to get your hands dirty to get the job done
Sound business judgment and proven ability to effectively communicate
and influence others
Superior verbal and written communications skills
Preferred
Experience in e-commerce, logistics or related fields
