    We are looking for a Immunology Patient Value Unit Head who leads the Patient Value Unit (marketing, medical and sales functions) and coordinates multifunctional brand strategies to achieve patient goals, sales and profitability targets, with full P&L accountability, based in our [ UCB Korea ] office in [Seoul], [Korea]

    What you'll do

  • Create a talented and engaged team of Immunology in South Korea - Recruit, inspire, retain and develop highly talented people to ensure the success of UCB; lead the team to focus & achieve business objectives
  • Drive strategies, plans and ensure timely execution, promoting the UCB objectives of increasing patient value and driving sustainable growth, sales and profitability; work closely with external decision makers
  • Lead through innovation and co-creation with other areas (ex.: access, medical and marketing) to develop and execute launch campaigns including internal & external engagement plans and lifecycle strategies.
  • Orchestrate across all functions & team members, working in a matrix environment that encompasses members of UCB at Local, Regional & Global levels as well as with external partner teams as needed, ensuring full alignment to meet customer needs for better patient care;
  • Oversee the iPVU financial performance and lead the strategic financial plans for the franchise.
  • Lead the digital strategic goals & ambition in immunology
  • Foster a collaborative & high-performance team culture.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence by the team to the company's Ethics principles and Compliance to local regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of the Korean Affiliate as part of the Korean leadership team

    Required


    • Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology.


    • Proven leadership skills and efficiency in conducting business in a highly complex healthcare system.


    • Strong interpersonal skills to create collaborative work environments.


    • Strong communication and ability to influence others.


    • Ability to prioritize and manage complex multidisciplinary projects.


    • Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, business planning and development and execution of tactical plans.


    • Excellent understanding of basic business finance, return on investment and profitability analysis.


    • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively in a complex multidisciplinary environment, in partnership with different stakeholders


    • Experience in product marketing, portfolio strategy and development of executable market plans driven by relevant customer insights.


    • Experience with qualitative and quantitative market research.


    • People management experience with direct reports and demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, mobilize, develop and retain high performance teams.


    • Demonstrated success in project, supplier and budget management.


    • Demonstration of a consistent history of success and delivery of strong sales and profitability results.


    • Availability for national and international trips.


    • Understanding of Pricing & Reimbursement strategies with proven experience.


    • Experience with product launches.


    • Display strong integrity and alignment to UCB's Ethics & Compliance standards.


    • Experience as Business Unit Head or similar function

    Preferred


    • Extensive knowledge of market access and account management environment in South Korea, familiar with the South Korean Health system and access processes, both nationally and locally with hands-on experience.


    • Experience with Pricing & Reimbursement in the South Korean Healthcare ecosystem.


    • Knowledge of the Immunology market within the Dermatology and/or Rheumatology therapeutic areas.


    • Expertise with new product launches in the specialty care market, preferably in Immunology.


    • In depth knowledge and experience of Marketing

    • Effective interpersonal skills and flexibility to meet customers' demands.


    • Ability to lead and operate autonomously with little supervision.


    • Demonstrated understanding and adherence to all applicable compliance and regulatory requirements.


    • Excellence in written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean
