The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Public Relations Executive who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.
Essential Functions
1. Communication and management of all hotel press matters and digital media, in line with the overall hotel PR strategy and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts (FSHR's) standards and brand image. And support and maintain marketing strategies relating to digital media, marketing collateral and promotional events to meet the Hotel's objectives.
2. PR executive is responsible for the execution of the integrated communications plan that is comprised of public relations that support the business objectives and contribute to positively impacting revenues.
3. Oversee the Hotel's reputation according to the market positioning as well as corporate brand identity and distribution guideline by checking all marketing channels in a daily basis.
4. Work closely with other departments to drive successful Marketing plans.
Education
• A university degree in journalism or communications or equivalent experience in public relations or journalism
Experience
• A minimum of 1 to 3 year experience in public relations
• Proven relationships with media, community and business contacts that have delivered demonstrable results, and the personality to maximize these contacts
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), a strong sense of quality and a creative mind set
• A self-starter that can multi-task and prioritise
• Proficiency in leveraging social media networks and related monitoring tools (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• The ability to create newsworthy events, develop story ideas and follow through with pitch leads
Skills and Abilities
• Press Room
- Post press releases, story starters, staff profiles and updates on the Press Room on a regular basis
• Image Library
- Upload new images for hotel promotional materials including print, digital, advertising assets and collateral.
• Corporate Tools and Agencies
- Actively pitch stories to media as well as Corporate Communication channels (FS News, Four Seasons Magazine print and online, the World of Four Seasons Content platforms, etc.) and relevant global corporate PR agencies
• Media Database
- Effectively maintain thorough, accurate and quality media contact database, including online publications and resource materials
• Optimize, Monitor and Measure
- Leverage regional monitoring tools as available
Visa Requirements
Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.
