- 담당직무
?Manage local accounting team and 3rd party providers to fulfil accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance responsibilities for First Data Korea. These responsibilities include:
oManage monthly general ledger close process to ensure that all entries are booked accurately and timely, ledgers are closed and data promoted to corporate consolidation system (HFM);
oComplete monthly balance sheet reporting to Corporate Reporting team;
oComplete monthly account reconciliations;
oPreparation of annual financial statements;
oPreparation of periodic VAT and corporation tax returns;
oManage financial and tax audits.
?Responsible for payments processing to outside vendors and business partners (Accounts Payable) and for processing of T&E claims for employees.
?Responsible for ownership of the balance sheets and fulfilment of the quarterly financial reporting certification process to management (MRC process) for FD Korea.
?Responsible for effective operation of financial controls that are performed by Korea accounting team and for monitoring effectiveness of key financial controls performed by local finance to ensure compliance with corporate policies and Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
?Utilize accounting expertise and general tax knowledge:
oTo provide accounting guidance and input to Finance and Business partners;
oTo direct, review and maintain the set up of all new accounting processes in accordance with Company Policies, local and US GAAP reporting requirements.
oTo drive the resolution of accounting issues and obtain approval for accounting decisions.

?Qualified accountant;
?Minimum 7 years of audit and/or accounting experience working with a multi-group operation;
?Experience with preparation of financial statements, corporation tax and VAT returns;
?Knowledge of Korea GAAP plus US GAAP or IFRS;
?Working knowledge of group consolidation and multi-GAAP reporting (e.g. reporting under local statutory accounting principles as well as under US GAAPor IFRS);
?Excellent command of English language required (written and verbal);
?Strong leadership, people management and communication skills;
?Well organized; Pragmatic; Results driven; Attention to detail;
?Looking for a dynamic and demonstrably ambitious candidate, who seeks responsibility, takes ownership and makes things happen.
